Indonesia Tourist Attractions In Breksi Cliff Yogyakarta

Breksi cliffs/ Tebing Breksi are a kind of tourist attraction that is formed due to human activities. It is said that, in the 1980s, there were breccia limestone mining activities conducted by local residents in Groyokan Hamlet, Sambirejo Village, Prambanan. By Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X, in May 2015, this place was inaugurated as a cultural heritage.

Interestingly, visitors can enjoy the various sculptures of local artists in Breksi Cliffs/ / Tebing Breksi. There are various sculptured images, for example puppets. Because of its unique appearance, Breksi Cliff is often used as a location of prewedding or selfie photos.

 In addition to enjoying the unique artwork, visitors can also see the enchanting scenery from the cliff tops, including panoramic Temple Ijo (Candi Ijo) and Ratu Boko Temple (Candi Ratu Boko). In fact, at the bottom there is an amphitheater called Tlatar Seneng and serves as a performance venue. This tourist spot is perfect to visit in the afternoon because the weather is more friendly.
